Torch in Darkness
The project aims to design software and mobile application for blind people to improve their sense of direction. The real-time stream is captured from a mobile phone camera and processed in depth estimation model and object detection model so that we can detect the name and depth of the objects. Then, the processed data is sent to our mobile application, and a stereo based output is sent to blind people. By this way, blind people can find their way.
